1) Which of your ancestors were alive in 1909?

GGG Grandfather Michael Lesser b. 1863. GG Grandfather Henry A Lesser b. 1895. GG Grandfather Henry F O'brien b. 1871.

GG Grandfather Gabriel Dyson b. 1850. Great Grandfather Albert Dyson b. 1875.

GG Grandfather John Plam b. 1858. Great Grandmother Clara Palm b. 1889.

2) Tell us where your ancestral families were living in 1909. What country, state, county, city/town, etc. Who was in the family at the time? Use the 1910 census as "close enough."

Michael Lesser was living in Brooklyn, NY probably. With whom? I don't know. He could have been living with his wife Lavinia Ferris or someone else at the time. Michael and Lavinia gave their son, Henry, to a home.

Henry F O'brien was living in Brooklyn, NY with his wife Margaret Gilroy and 5 out of the 7 children. In 1909 2 of their children died.

Henry Lesser wasn't living with his parents, Michael and Lavinia. He was living in a home at the age of 14.

Gabriel Dyson was living in England with his wife Elizabeth MacDonald and 5 out of the 8 children.

Albert Dyson was living in Brooklyn, NY as a lodger.

John Plam was living in Brooklyn, NY with his 2nd wife, Betty and their child Clara Palm.

3) Have you found each of these families in the 1910 census?

Michael Lesser: No
