1936

On December 8, 1936 my grandmother, Virginia Lesser, was born. She was born in Brooklyn, New York to Henry and Catherine (O'brien) Lesser. She was the baby of the family, with 5 other siblings. In 1955, she married my grandfather, Albert Dyson. She was 19 at the time, my grandfather, 24. They had 5 children, including my father. She was 21 when she had her first child, my aunt. Then in 1972, they divorced. She was 36 and my grandfather, 41. My dad was 12 years old at the time. On December 8, 2009 she will celebrate her 73rd birthday.

On April 19, 1936 my cousin, Joan Askew, was born. She was born in Darlington, Durham, England to William Askew and May (Dyson) Askew. She was the baby of the family, with 1 other sibling. She never married and died Sept. 30, 2001 in London, England at the age of 65.
